For the last few weeks I've been doing quite a bit of Christmas crafting including these Mexican style ornaments.
These ornaments are based on vintage McCall's templates and were originally designed to make balsa wood ornaments but Sue had the idea to convert them into embroidered ones. Sue has kindly made the templates available here on her blog.
I was also inspired to make these salt and pepper pot snow people by this blog post.
Lastly, I'd been wanting to try the faux chenille technique for some time and so enjoyed making these faux chenille tree ornaments.
